PENTATONIC X SNARKITECTURE: FRACTURED

Rethinking the relationship between art, science and materials, 'Fractured' was our first collaboration with New York's iconic design practice Snarkitecture. Their designers reimagined the circular technology and precision engineering attributes of our AirTool modular furniture system, resulting in a unique bench and table combination that both absorbed and jarred simultaneously."Taking the existing and transforming it into something unusual and extraordinary, and multiplying it thousands or even millions of times. MASUKU

A joint venture between Pentatonic and Natalia Vodianova, Masuku has been in the works for more than four years, when we embarked on this journey based on a simple insight - that masks are, and always will be, a critical matter of public health. They are a necessity in protecting us from ever growing allergens, pollution and pathogens.But as consumer products, masks were nowhere near to delivering the sophistication of other product categories which centre around filtration and protection such as sunscreen, sunglasses and bottled water. And as for sustainability, comfort and breathability, the market was years behind. To truly revolutionise a product category, you must start from scratch.

THE POCKET PEBBLE BY OTHERWARE

The Pocket Pebble is made by OTHERWARE - a collaboration between Pentatonic, the world's leading circular economy company, and I am OTHER, the creative collective founded by Pharrell Williams, which debuted emphatically in July 2020.Created from CDs and food packaging which were destined for waste, the Pebble nods to the collaboration's musical foots and the global abundance of single-use waste.The case's volume has been reduced by 45% through a flatter and slimmer design than its predecessors, making it easily slide into a pocket. Designed to hold fewer utensils for more space efficiency, users have the option of a knife/fork/straw configuration ('Poke' set), or a chopsticks/spoon/straw option ('Pinch').
